Q: Can I plant the basil inside?  A: Yes, best way to plant it is take it out of the bag trim basil plant up so it won’t fall over and place root ball in pot with soil. Keep moist.  Q: Can I plant the basil outside? A: Yes, basil likes it 55 degrees or warmer and lots of sunlight. Trim the basil up so it won’t fall over and place in garden and cover root ball with soil 1/2 over, and keep moist.  Q: How can I keep my plant longer? A: Take plant out of bag. Place in glass on counter near window. Place water in glass up to middle of root ball. You will want a glass big enough so that the plant can stretch out.
